The project brief for 2025 was to provide Kolet with their own in-house mobile application, ‘Kolet Tracking’ for “Parcel Tracking Made Easy”. This application was to be designed to empower their customers: giving them visibility on the parcels they’ve ordered, where these are in the delivery cycle, and to database their past orders in an easy-to-view archive module.

Eventually their app is to be further developed to include a Order Collection facility, as a way for customers who are ‘not at home right now’ to redirect their incoming parcels to a listed service point, for collection at a more convenient date & time. This will package further mapping and route guidance technologies to create a more holistic consignment system.

This mobile app brief accompanied a system we’d already developed for Kolet, to finalise a ‘full-suite’ offering. Beginning with a website as their window in the digital space, packaged with a full-spec, custom Management Information System [MIS], this union was designed to lay the foundations of their Ordering Experience for their users. Their MIS databased all of their orders, and gave their team ease-of-insight into the status of each and every package: from order placement, to preparation, to dispatch, to route updates. Even going so far to include a route-to-driver allocation system and custom route schedules.
